This week at the Friday Mashup, Liliana Garcia is hosting “Let’s celebrate the Grads!”. This is not only perfect timing because graduation season is approaching, but in less than 15 days my own baby girl will be graduating from high school. I can’t believe how fast time actually does fly.
The challenge guidelines this week are as follows:
1. Create a project for “Graduation”.
2. Create a project with “any kind of Embossing”.
3. Or Mash it Up and create a project with “Embossing for Graduation”.
Below is my take on the challenge, and I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Happy Crafting!
~Elaine

Wow, congratulations on your daughter’s graduation. I have a teen myself, so I know how apt the sentiment is!!
Love the monochromatic look of your card!
Thank you Paru! The teen years have been very exciting. Looking forward to college. 🙂
Perfect sentiment for a graduating teen! Love the feminine touch the tulle adds. Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup this week.
Thanks Heidi!
I like the font and how the words are layed out. How did you do that?
It is a stamp, so the wording is already laid out for me. Usually to create that type of word art myself I would use Photoshop Elements.
What a great card! I love the use of just the black and white!
My baby girl is also graduating, next week! Seems like just yesterday she was in diapers!
Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Friday Mashup!
Thanks Lisa! Diapers…I remember diapers, and the way they used to snuggle your neck…oh and new baby smell, not to be confused with diapers 🙂
Great combination of sentiment and focal point! Black and white is such a classy colour scheme for a grad card! Thanks for playing along with the Friday Mashup this week!
Thanks Amy! This was a fun one to create.
