Pals Paper Arts Challenge No. 159

There is a great sketch challenge this week at Pals Paper Arts. When I saw the clean lines of the sketch I thought they would really showcase Alicia’s Graduation Photo. I am so proud of all she accomplished in her high school career, and can hardly wait to see what she does in college.

I created this project digitally so that it would fit flush in a standard frame, but you could do the same using papers or embellish the digital project to create a hybrid, if you are using a shadow box frame.

I’d love to see, how you use this sketch to create your projects.

Happy Crafting!

Some of the digital elements were created by myself, and several were from a kit entitled “Yearbook” designed by Kitty Chen.

Friday Mashup Challenge No. 108

This week at the Friday Mashup, Liliana Garcia is hosting “Let’s celebrate the Grads!”.  This is not only perfect timing because graduation season is approaching, but in less than 15 days my own baby girl will be graduating from high school. I can’t believe how fast time actually does fly.

The challenge guidelines this week are as follows:

1. Create a project for “Graduation”.
2. Create a project with “any kind of Embossing”.
3. Or Mash it Up and create a project with “Embossing for Graduation”.

Below is my take on the challenge, and I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Happy Crafting!
