Fa La La La La – MDSM41

I spent some time recently scrolling through old family photos my dad scanned and saved for all us kids a while back. I came across some Christmas photos I wanted to put in a digital layout.

I headed over to the MDS Monday Blog to look for a sketch I could use, and was happy to see challenge MDSM41! As many of you know Bling is my middle name…no not really, but I love things that sparkle and shine.

Here is my take on the challenge, using DSP from Stampin’ Up!’s Letters to Santa collection and for the sentiment I used one of the digital overlays from the Oh What Fun set. I think the page is fun and festive…just what I was going for.

Holiday Card Front – MDSM38

Halloween was a great success. Everyone loved the pumpkins Ali carved. I should have taken a picture of them all lit up last night….but alas I think I was in a candy coma.

Excited by the start of the holiday season, I thought I would search for some Christmas card ideas. Tara Bourgoin over at  MDS Monday has a terrific card sketch for challenge MDSM38, and after checking out all the design team inspiration pieces, I though this would make a great holiday card front.

I used Stampin’ Up! DSP from the Letters to Santa collection, and I altered some of the embellishments from the Playful Polka Dots collection to compliment the papers. Below is my entry to the challenge.
