Paper Players Challenge No. 146

Just in time for Father’s Day, this week Ann Schach from the Paper Players Challenge focuses on clean and simple masculine cards for Challenge No. 146. I thought this would be an optimal time to work on a card for a certain Dad I know 😉

I love how the card turned out. It is always difficult for me to create a masculine card, since lace and rhinestones don’t exactly fit the bill, but a little bit of baker’s twine does the trick to fit my embellishment fix.

I’d love to see the masculine cards you create!

Happy Crafting!

Mojo Monday Challenge No. 294

Julee Tilman designed this sketch for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge No. 294. Below is my take on the sketch. I really am drawn to a French Country, Shabby Chic feel, and I tried to capture it here with this card, using neutral tones and natural cotton ribbon.

I’d love to see your take on Julee’s design.

Mojo Monday Challenge No. 293

Julee Tilman does it again with this wonderful sketch for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge No. 293. Below is my take on the sketch. I used my favorite DSP Beau Chateau, along with vintage lace and button to create a “Shabby Chic” feel.

I’d love to see what you do with Julee’s design.

Dynamic Duos Challenge No. 52

Dyanmic Duos is celebrating their ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

In celebration this week’s challenge is to create a project using one of their PAST COLOUR COMBOS. I opted to use the color combo from DD#13 Early Espresso & Crumb Cake.

My all time favorite stamp is Definitely Decorative Avian Toile. It is truly elegant, and I have used it many times, but never for an easel card. This week I decided to combine all three, the color challenge, my favorite stamp and easel card. Below is what I came up with. Love the result!

I can’t wait to see your take on this challenge. Happy Anniversary to the Dynamic Duos Team, and thank you for your continued artistic inspiration!

Happy Crafting!
